Israël Gadji, is a young farmer in Benin, determined to significantly improve his crop yields despite sandy soils poor in organic matter. To achieve this, he uses chicken manure, cow dung, and soybean meal to enhance the growth of his vegetable crops. 🐂🐓

To mitigate the effects of climate variability, Israël also implements off-season tomato cultivation. 🍅
Israël seeks better and more economical solutions than synthetic pesticides, which is why he has set up trials on his plots to find alternative methods. 👍
