Reviving the soil with agroecology🪱🌴🌱

Mamadou Diagne, a farmer in M’bour, Senegal, learned agroecology at the Kaydara Farm School. When he started in 2017, his soils were lifeless. Thanks to agroecological techniques: compost application, intercropping, he managed to revive the microbial life in his soils, and his production allows him to live a dignified life with his family.🧅🥭🥥

Practicing agriculture differently has enabled him to show the village that agroecology works and that one can succeed and be self-sufficient on these lands.👍
